What is Richland Soil & Water Conservation District?

Pictures from Richland County

Our district is a sub-division of the State of Ohio that serves the residents of Richland County. Providing technical assistance to residents and landowners is our primary service. An example is assisting local county government with the revised Stormwater and Sediment Control Regulations. These services are in conjunction with the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service.

Our mission is to assist the citizens of Richland County to protect and improve the County's natural resources by providing exceptional education, planning and technical assistance.

What is our Vision?

Pictures from Richland CountyTo improve the quality and quantity of our County's natural resources within the watersheds of Richland County by establishing a working network of diverse conservation partners resulting in the District being known as the County's natural resource agency.
